Amman- 12 December 2021

On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, the Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Ralf Roßkopf, and the Director of the German Language Center (GLC), Jacqueline Rogler, at the German Jordanian University (GJU)و visited the students of the first B2 course in the presence of coordinator of the course, Samir Haskic, and the course instructor, Friederike Haumann.

The course was launched in the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year as a pilot course at the German Language Center to allow students with high performance to transfer to the B2 course after their first language course at GJU. Currently, over 100 students are enrolled in the B2 course.

The aim of introducing the course is to bring a growing number of students to a B2 language level before they complete their obligatory semester of study and practical training ("German Year") in Germany.

Both the German Vice President and the Director of the GLC emphasized the extraordinary importance of this measure and motivated the course participants to continue to pursue their learning goal with commitment and dedication to benefit from it both during their German Year and in their professional careers.
