The School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management at German Jordanian University organized a closing ceremony of the Pv-Cool Project  in the presence of GJU Vice President Professor Manar Fayyad, and the participation of the Dean of the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and representatives from the private sector on Tuesday , October 27, 2016.   

Professor Fayyad  emphasized the importance of these projects and the scientific and technological researches in finding innovative methods to improve the quality of scientific education at GJU.  She also pointed out that the Pv-cool Project is representing a forward step of GJU toward serving the society in terms of solar energy and converting it into electricity.

For his part Dr. Munjed AL-Sharif, Dean of School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management indicated that Pv-Cool Project is very important for the school and other scientific purposes.  

The project Coordinator Dr. Louay Qwaider briefed about the project and the solar simulator, speaking about the cooling system of solar cells to increase their efficiency through special designed devices. Technical Support Engineer / PV Systems Eng. Izzat Marji  assured the importance of the projects results, conducting research studies and technology transfer in the field of renewable energy in order to strengthen and improve the education approach in this field.  

It is worthy to mention that the event included an inauguration to a new lab “InSoLab” ,  students experiments , in addition to a short brief about the Technological Development and Innovation "SRTD" Phase II and its objectives.
