On Monday, 27th of March 2017, the Information Systems and Technology Center launched the Human Resources and Payroll Systems that were developed in-house and will enable GJU’s employees to check their personal information and employment status, as well as view their payslips online.

Director of the Information Systems and Technology Center Dr. Feras Al-Hawari, highlighted the achievements of the software development team in the center that released several major systems in record time and with high quality. He also explained to the attendees the advantages of the new system and its capability of reducing the pressure on the Financial and Human Resources Departments by cutting labor hours and reducing errors, besides its benefits in tracking employee data, recruitment process, attendance information, performance evaluations, and payroll records.

He also thanked his team as well as the Human Resources and Financial Departments’ team members for their support to achieve such a tremendous project.

Director of the Finance Department Sana’ Farraj, expressed her contentment in reaching this step by the support of the university's management and their wise decisions to build in-house customized systems that benefit the GJU family.

At the end of the ceremony GJU President Prof. Natheer Abu Obied said that he is very proud to witness such a historical day.

He praised the huge efforts of the GJU family mentioning that implementing this project was full of hardship and challenges, yet he was confident of the success eventually since he believes in the teams’ competency, support, devotion, and dedication.

It is also worth noting that the system was designed and developed by Dr. Feras Al-Hawari along with Eng. Anoud Alufieshat and Mr. Mohammad Habahbeh.
