Dr. Raed Al-Tal
Raed Al Tal, PhD
Raed Al Tal is an Associate Professor of Architecture at German Jordanian University. School of Architecture and Built Environment. He holds a PhD in Architectural History and Theory from State University of New York (SUNY). His research field of interest covers effects of conflict and crises , modernity and nationalism on the visual and spatial environment of the city and how they shaped the social and political identities of the urban population. He is practicing architect, urban planner and urban development project manager. Al Tal served in the public sector as urban planner and acting Mayer for several years in Jordan. He is refereed reviewer for a number of international urban studies and architectural journals.
