Dr. Hani Muhsen
Dr. Hani Muhsen is an Associate Professor in the Mechatronics and AI Department at the German Jordanian University (GJU) in Amman, Jordan. Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Chemnitz, Germany, he has extensive experience in electrical engineering and renewable energy systems, with over 25 publications to his name. His core research focuses on cutting-edge energy solutions, specifically Smart Grid systems, Hydrogen Technology, and optimization. Within the smart grid field, his work involves developing microgrid models, studying peer-to-peer energy trading, and conducting cyber-physical security analyses. He is a prominent contributor to the global energy transition, concentrating on Green Hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX) technologies. This includes researching the integration of hydrogen into coupled energy sectors and assessing the economic and environmental feasibility of utilizing green hydrogen to decarbonize local industries. His work, which includes co-authoring the textbook Fundamentals of Green Hydrogen Supply Chain and Power-to-X, aims to provide practical, data-driven frameworks for future energy policy and infrastructure planning.
