About School of Nursing

The School of Nursing (SN) at German Jordanian University (GJU) was established in 2023 to address the growing demand for healthcare professionals, especially nurses, in Jordan and around the world. The school aims to provide high-quality nursing education and training that aligns with international standards and addresses the continually evolving healthcare needs of Jordan, Germany, and the rest of the world.

The SN offers a well-designed, comprehensive, and up-to-date rigorous curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical training. The school is equipped with state-of-the-art educational and simulation laboratories, along with a team of well-qualified and experienced academic staff with qualifications that cover every single aspect in the field of nursing.

One of the defining features that makes the SN different is the obligatory German Year, which offers students the chance to spend a semester studying at one of the partner German universities, followed by six months of training in one of the German healthcare facilities. This year enhances their skills and provides them with a unique chance to engage in German culture, the German healthcare system, and improve their German language.
