The shortage of nurses worldwide has been a significant and ongoing concern for the healthcare industry. The School of Nursing (SN) at German Jordanian (GJU) has been established in 2023 in response to the local and international demands on Nursing profession. The school aims at providing high-quality nursing education and training to meet the growing demand for healthcare professionals, especially nurses, in Jordan and the world. In collaboration with German universities, the school has great potential to providing world-class nursing education and hands-on training to our aspiring nursing students. Such a collaboration would certainly enrich the educational experience and help in offering global opportunities for our students.

The school offers nursing education that is based on well-designed, comprehensive, and up-to-date rigorous curriculum that aligns with international standards and addresses the continually evolving healthcare needs for Jordan, Germany, and the rest of the world. Our curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical training. The school is equipped with state-of-the-art educational and simulation laboratories along with a team of well-qualified and experienced academic staff with qualifications that cover every single aspect in the field of nursing. One of the defining features that makes our school different is the obligatory German Year, which offers our students the chance to spend a semester to study at one of our partner German universities, followed by six months training in one of the German healthcare facilities. This year would enhance their skills and provide them with a unique chance to engage in the German culture, German healthcare system and improve their German language.
