The Clinic Team at the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized an engaging session for children aged 5 to 16 participating in the university’s summer camp, featuring interactive activities designed to promote health and psychological awareness.

The clinic's awareness program extended over three days and included interactive lectures, practical activities, and motivational competitions. The clinic's physician, Dr. Hatef Abuwaar, delivered a simple and engaging lecture on the basics of public health, personal hygiene, proper nutrition, and the proper use of electronic devices and their negative impact on health. The lecture was interspersed with discussions and questions from the children, which helped solidify their understanding of health concepts.

For her part, psychologist Dr. Shefa Alshawabkeh focused on positive behavior modification skills, building self-confidence, and ways to express emotions through interactive activities aimed at developing children's social and emotional skills.
