The German Jordanian University (GJU), through the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), concluded the fifth edition of its "Kinder Uni, Little Professor" program, which brought together more than 300 children from across the Kingdom. The week-long program featured an engaging scientific and interactive learning environment that fostered collaboration and helped develop participants' skills.
During the closing ceremony, GJU President, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, emphasized the University's strong commitment to this exceptional initiative, reflecting its belief in investing in future generations. He noted that the University is dedicated to making the "Kinder Uni, Little Professor" a beacon of knowledge that contributes to shaping the character of today's children and tomorrow's innovators.
He added that the program extends beyond delivering academic knowledge, aiming instead to inspire curiosity, cultivate scientific and hands-on thinking, and broaden children's horizons for creativity and innovation.
For her part, Dean of DSA, Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, explained that the Deanship designed the program to embody the University's vision of providing an interactive and inspiring educational environment that nurtures children's talents. She stressed that the objective was not merely to offer workshops, but to create a comprehensive educational experience that strengthens children's personalities while enhancing their life and communication skills.
The program reflects the University's commitment to fostering a culture of learning and innovation among children and encouraging their interest in science, engineering, and technology through an interactive educational environment that simulates university life. It also contributes to developing analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
At the conclusion of the program, participating children were honored and awarded certificates in a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the program's positive impact in nurturing their passion for learning and encouraging them to continue exploring, creating, and innovating in line with the University's vision of preparing a knowledgeable and innovative generation capable of meeting future challenges.
