
As part of the School of Nursing's (SN) commitment to enhancing the level of practical training for its students and strengthening partnerships with leading healthcare institutions, Dr. Mayada Daibes, Dean of (SN), at German Jordanian University (GJU) accompanied by Dr. Mohammad Al-Zaatreh, Vice Dean, paid an official visit to the Istishari Hospital on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
The delegation was received by Mr. Mustafa Al-Abbadi, Director of the Nursing Department at the hospital, where discussions were held on mechanisms of cooperation between both parties and ways to develop the students' training process to keep pace with scientific and professional advancements in the field of nursing. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of providing an ideal training environment that contributes to refining clinical skills and enhancing the practical competencies of the college's students, in order to optimally prepare them for training and employment in the German and global healthcare markets.
The visit included a field tour of the hospital departments, during which the delegation was briefed on the progress of practical training. They also met with a number of the hospital’s nursing staff and the college’s trainee students, where they listened to their feedback and observations about their training experience at the hospital, and stressed the importance of such partnerships in supporting the professional path of the students.
This visit comes as part of a series of field visits carried out by the school to enhance the quality of practical education and ensure alignment between theoretical curricula and clinical application, contributing to the graduation of qualified nursing professionals capable of meeting the needs of the healthcare sector both locally and regionally.
