The School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) welcomed on Tuesday, 9 November 2021, a delegation of 30 engineers, architects, and designers from Egypt invited by GOPA.
The visitors were welcomed by the Dean of SABE, Dr. Maram Tawil, Prof. Mohammad Yaghan, Assistant to president for Campus Affairs, Mr. AbdulHakim Arabiyat, and Arch. Tala Mukhaimer.
The visit aimed at getting more insight on the mixture between the old and the new, to observe the rehabilitation process performed and the systems applied, in addition to sharing knowledge in designing adaptive sustainable Educational Buildings.
Arch. Tala Mukheimer conducted a presentation on the rehabilitation process applied to GJU Jabal Amman and the steps taken by the rehabilitation team who started working on the renovation of Bait Ibrahim Hashem project in 2015
It is worth mentioning GOPA is an international leading consulting company dedicated to performing and effectively contributing to international cooperation and global development, the company's headquarter is located in Germany, and one of its regional branches is in Amman.
