The Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in collaboration with the Innovation Club, launched the "Innovation Trail" program. The initiative aims to familiarize students with the entrepreneurial environment in the local community and expose them to various entrepreneurial and industrial projects surrounding the university campus.

The first edition of the "Innovation Trail" included a field visit to several key locations in Madaba Governorate, such as the Mosaic Institute, the Chocolate Factory in the Industrial City, and several production projects led by female entrepreneurs in the area. During the visits, students explored real-life entrepreneurial experiences, learned about the foundations of the local tourism industry, and understood the role of innovation in developing these sectors.

The launch of this program is part of DI-TECH’s ongoing efforts to empower students with entrepreneurial skills and motivate them to explore job and production opportunities in their local surroundings. This, in turn, enhances GJU’s role in linking academic knowledge with practical application and community development.
