In the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al- Halhouli, the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized a student carnival to celebrate the new and old students and their return to face-to-face education on campus.
The activities of the carnival, in which a large crowd of university students participated, included a wide variety of cultural, sports, and artistic activities aimed at introducing the student clubs hosted by the DSA, in addition to musical and sports sessions, drawing, ceramics, music, theater, handicrafts, and a presentation of the most important initiatives of current students and graduates.
Prof. Al-Halhouli expressed his pride in GJU students, their affiliation, and their keenness to volunteer and participate in extracurricular activities to develop their skills and expertise to be active and productive citizens of their society and country.
For her part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thelal Oweis, stated that GJU believes in the importance of clubs in discovering student innovations, encouraging and developing them, adding that organizing activities highlight students' talents, and working on refining and nurturing them.
Prof. Al-Halhouli inaugurated the carnival, the first art exhibition for student drawings, poetry competitions, where a group of students presented their creative projects.
