The German Energy Academy in Jordan (GEA), in collaboration with the AEE Student Club, participated in the Uni Kids Program, “Little Professor”, held at the German Jordanian University (GJU) from July 20 to 24, 2025.
As part of the program, the Academy’s team organized and delivered a combined theoretical and practical training session on solar energy and household bill analysis, targeting approximately 60 participants aged 14 to 16.
The session aimed to reflect the university’s mission of offering innovative educational initiatives that spark students’ curiosity and provide them with opportunities to engage directly with the university environment in an interactive and safe learning atmosphere.
The training consisted of two main components: a theoretical segment that provided a simplified explanation of energy concepts, an introduction to the components of a solar energy system, and how it operates and a practical segment where participants learned how to read household electricity bills in a clear, simplified manner. In addition, students engaged in a hands-on demonstration of a stand-alone solar system, allowing them to explore its components and understand its real-life application.
