The Business Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with "FABC" and the IEEE Club, organized an Innovation Hackathon with the participation of a large group of students from various academic disciplines. The event aimed to promote collaboration and innovation among young people.
The hackathon’s goal is to foster collaboration and innovation by bringing together students and experts from diverse fields, such as Information Technology (IT), Business Administration, and Engineering, to work on projects in vital areas like digital marketing, human resources, smart cities, and healthcare.
The club advisor, Eng. Omar Albawaleez, pointed out that the hackathon provides an opportunity for university students to develop their practical skills and enhance a culture of innovation. He emphasized that the university is committed to creating an educational environment that stimulates creativity. The club president, student Noor Alkasassbeh, also stressed that the hackathon is an opportunity for self-discovery and future-building.

The deadline for submitting projects is set for February 1, 2025. The winning team will receive a prize of $1,200, while the second and third-place teams will be awarded $600 and $400, respectively, along with training opportunities with "FABC" and the chance to turn their innovative ideas into real projects.
This event is part of the GJU’s commitment to providing a supportive environment for innovation, enhancing collaboration among young people, and opening new horizons for them to work on real projects that could lay the foundation for their future professional success.
