The German Jordanian University, represented by the Dean of Student Affairs, organized a Model United Nations conference with the participation of more than 170 students from various Jordanian schools and universities.

In his remarks, Dr. Malek Al-Sharairi, the university's Vice President, emphasized the importance of organizing such events that empower youth and enhance their engagement in international issues. He explained that the conference provides a platform for young people to exchange ideas and develop their leadership skills, contributing to the formation of a generation capable of facing global challenges.

Dr. Al-Sharairi added, "This type of event not only enhances academic knowledge but also includes building self-confidence and the ability to express opinions effectively. We are proud of our partnership with other schools and universities in providing this outstanding educational experience."

Members of the Executive Board of the Model United Nations Club also shared their experiences in organizing the event, emphasizing the role of such initiatives in promoting values of dialogue and negotiation among students, and developing their critical thinking and active participation skills.

It is noteworthy that the conference was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Thela Owies, the Dean of Student Affairs, and former MP Abla Abu Al-Abed, who stressed in her speech the importance of youth involvement in such conferences that increase their political awareness and develop their skills in dialogue and discussion.
