The German Jordanian University (GJU) represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) has launched for the fourth consecutive year the "Kinderun" program, known as the "Little Professor" with wide participation from children across various governorates of the Kingdom. This initiative aligns with the university’s vision to enhance academic awareness among emerging generations and provide an inspiring educational environment.

During the opening ceremony, GJU President, Prof. Alaaldeen Al-Halhouli, expressed the university's pride in this pioneering educational initiative, emphasizing that the program is not merely a recreational activity but a comprehensive educational platform aimed at instilling the concepts of science and ambition in students from an early age. He added that investing in early childhood is a fundamental pillar for building an advanced knowledge-based society.

The Dean of DSA Dr. Thelal Oweis, explained that the program offers children the opportunity to directly engage with the university environment through diverse scientific and practical activities. These activities introduce them to academic disciplines and help them discover their future inclinations. She also pointed out that this initiative is a qualitative step that contributes to building the child's personality and boosting their self-confidence.

Student Sarah shared her inspiring experience with "Kinderuni" expressing her happiness to return to the campus, this time as an actual university student. She affirmed that her previous participation in the program helped her identify her academic passion and was a turning point in her educational journey.

The program, which runs for four days, includes a range of interactive events organized in cooperation with several university faculties. It features workshops in engineering, robotics, graphic design, languages, and sciences, as well as laboratory experiments and innovative educational presentations tailored to the age groups involved and designed to satisfy their scientific curiosity.

This program is part of a series of annual community initiatives carried out by the university, reflecting its commitment to its educational and awareness mission and its continuous efforts to build effective communication bridges between educational institutions and the local community, by broadening children’s horizons and inspiring them to confidently and consciously shape their scientific future.
