The Industrial Engineering Department at the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized the Industrial Engineering Forum 2024, with the participation of a group of prominent speakers in the field of industrial engineering, including the Dean of the School, Prof Iyas Khader, and Dr. Safwan Altarazi from the Industrial Engineering Department.

Dr. Naser Bawab, an expert in operations management, spoke about the future of industrial engineering and its global trends, sharing his extensive experience gained from working in various countries. He discussed how technological and technical advancements are impacting the industrial engineering field and how students can prepare to keep up with these changes.

Eng. Ehab Hafez, the Chief Digital and Information Technology Officer at Umniah, emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence in the telecommunications sector and how modern technology has impacted the telecommunications industry. He also presented Umniah's journey in adopting AI technologies and digital transformation.

At the end of the day, a discussion session was held with Eng. Maha Nabil Said, Director of Supply Chain for MENA, and Mariana Batarian, HR Manager at Hikma Pharmaceuticals. The session focused on job and employment opportunities at Hikma, and students had the chance to interact with recruitment officials to explore career opportunities in the field of industrial engineering. tudent competitions were held to showcase the engineering projects prepared by the students. The winners were Qootalkoloub Heissat and Saif Addeen Shaltoni from the Industrial Engineering Department. These competitions provided students with an opportunity to display their skills and innovations in various engineering fields.
