The School of Nursing (SN) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by the Dean of the School, Dr. Mayada Daibes, and Dr. Hedaya Hina, participated in the International Week organized by the Faculty of Social Work and Health at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

During the event, Dr. Daibes and Dr. Hina delivered a series of specialized lectures to students in the fields of social work and nursing. These lectures focused on critical topics, including research ethics and evidence-based nursing practices. The sessions aimed to support students’ future professional practices, enhance their critical thinking skills, and develop their ability to analyze complex cases, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.

The International Week witnessed broad participation from academics and practitioners from various social and healthcare institutions. This gathering provided an opportunity to exchange scientific and practical expertise, fostering academic collaboration and professional training between Frankfurt University and its partner universities.

Additionally, several meetings and discussions were held with German hospitals and healthcare institutions. These discussions aimed to establish strategic agreements that would provide training opportunities for GJU nursing students during their final year of the bachelor’s program.

These partnerships are expected to significantly enhance students’ practical experience by offering training opportunities in German academic and healthcare institutions. This initiative will contribute to improving the quality of education and hands-on training in the nursing field, better preparing students for their professional careers.
