The Vice President of the German Jordanian University for Academic Excellence, Prof. Iyas Khader, took part in the launch ceremony of the "Huawei Ambassadors" program at Jordanian universities. The
event was organized by Huawei under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and attended by representatives from several Jordanian universities.
Also representing the university at the event were Dr. Ammar Gharaibeh, Head of the Computer Engineering Department and the university’s liaison officer, along with student Karam Al-Hasanat from the Department of Electrical Engineering, who participated as a representative of the university's ambassador team.
The "Huawei Ambassadors" program aims to form student teams across universities that work to build a knowledge-based community on campus. These teams introduce students to Huawei’s services and its specialized courses in technology fields, in addition to providing internship opportunities at the company and encouraging students to participate in Huawei’s local and regional tech competitions.
The ceremony also included the presentation of honorary shields and certificates of appreciation to those responsible for implementing the program at participating universities, in recognition of their efforts to support and empower students in technological fields.
