The German Jordanian University (GJU) participated in the university exhibition as part of the "Masarak – Wada’an Tawjihi 2025" career and academic guidance initiative, a program dedicated to advising high school students and BTEC program students in Jordan. This initiative is one of the projects launched by the BTEC Department at the International Standards Academy, under the supervision of the ISO Schools team. The event was held at the Sheraton Hotel – Amman, with the participation of a distinguished group of universities, educational institutions, and guidance organizations.
The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Ali Hammad, former Head of the Testing Department at the Ministry of Education, and Eng. Abdalrahman Abu-Awwad, Director of ISO School 4 and Director of the BTEC Program. They toured the exhibition stands afterward.
GJU, through its dedicated booth, provided a comprehensive overview of its academic programs and distinguished majors, highlighting the features of its education system that integrates theoretical and practical aspects. The university also introduced the "Germany Year," which offers practical training and academic exchange opportunities with leading companies and institutions in Germany.
The university was represented at the event by Mr. Hamza Abu-Orabi and Ms. Nancy Al-Shweiki from the Public Relations and Marketing Department, alongside students Zaid Saleh and Doha Al-Mahadin from the Innovation Club. They provided visitors with comprehensive explanations about the university study experience and the unique opportunities available to students.
Meanwhile, Eng. Walaa Al-Atiyat, the initiative coordinator, emphasized that "Masarak" represents an important step in supporting students to build their academic and professional futures with awareness and responsibility. She highlighted the importance of direct communication with university representatives to help students better understand their options when choosing majors.
This initiative aims to raise awareness among 11th and 12th-grade students about their academic and professional pathways and to familiarize them with job market opportunities in various fields. It provides an interactive platform to communicate with universities, obtain information about admissions and scholarships, and supports early career guidance for school students, especially those in the 9th grade.
GJU's participation in this initiative aligns with its vision to enhance its role in serving the community and supporting students’ academic and professional development through active involvement in awareness and guidance events.
