The German Language Center (GLC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a workshop on classroom management, conducted by Jennifer Swanda. The workshop was presented German lecturers at the center and highlighted the importance of effective classroom management in achieving successful teaching outcomes.

Participants discussed key aspects of educational management, including establishing classroom rules, time management, student engagement, and the use of effective communication strategies. Special focus was given to the challenges of teaching German as a foreign language, such as addressing varying language proficiency levels and diverse cultural backgrounds.

The workshop offered practical tips and best practices to help instructors create a positive learning environment, resolve conflicts effectively, and motivate students, ultimately leading to improved learning outcomes.

Ongoing professional development in pedagogical and methodological teaching approaches is a cornerstone of the GLC’s commitment to excellence. By continually refining instructional strategies, lecturers aim to foster an interactive, student-centered environment that enhances engagement, motivation, and overall language acquisition.

These structured training initiatives ensure that teaching practices remain innovative, evidence-based, and aligned with the highest standards in language education.
