The German Jordanian University (GJU) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) / Madrasati Initiative, with the aim of strengthening collaboration in implementing the E-Twinning Program and developing the capacities of professionals working in the education and social work sectors in Jordan.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by its President, Prof. Alaaldeen Al‑Halhouli, while it was signed on behalf of the Jordan River Foundation by the Director of the Madrasati Initiative, Ms. Lana Sweiss, in the presence of representatives from both sides.
The agreement aims to unify efforts between the two parties to build the capacities and skills of social workers and teachers in Jordan to implement E-Twinning programs and develop related educational content. This includes university teacher trainers as well as students majoring in Social Work.
The agreement also includes developing curricula and educational materials related to the E-Twinning Program, implementing joint initiatives to support the integration of technology in the educational process, and exchanging expertise and knowledge between the two institutions.
Both parties emphasized the importance of this agreement in strengthening cooperation between academic and community institutions, supporting the development of the educational process in Jordan, and enhancing the role of national initiatives in empowering educational and social professionals.
This agreement comes within the framework of the commitment of the German Jordanian University and the Jordan River Foundation to expand areas of joint cooperation in a way that contributes to serving the local community, supporting efforts to develop the education sector, and promoting innovation within it.
