The Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in cooperation with the Jordan River Foundation, celebrated the graduation of the participants in the Solar Energy Installation and Maintenance and Energy Efficiency course, This course was implemented by the German Jordanian University under the agreement signed between the two parties, as part of the project "Enhancing Self-Reliance for Syrian Refugees and Host Jordanian Communities," supported by the Regional Development and Protection Programme for Jordan and Lebanon (RDPP).

The course was delivered by a group of faculty members and engineers at the university, namely: Dr. Ayman Al-Batayenh, Dr. Mustafa Jaradat, Eng. Sondos Al-Mashaileh, Eng. Abdulrahman Omar, and Eng. Mohammed Ayyash. This training aims to support the beneficiaries by building their specialized professional skills, as well as enhancing employment opportunities and connecting them to the private sector.
The event was attended by the Dean of (DI-TECH), Dr. Nidal Al-Shwawreh, alongside representatives from the Jordan River Foundation, including Ms. Rasha Al-Badareen, Employment Program Manager, Ms. Shorouq Hamdan, Project Manager, Ms. shereen shareeda, Operations Coordinator, and Mr. Murad Shakkah, Chief Project Coordinator.
In his speech, Dr. Al- Shwawreh emphasized that this course represents an important step towards achieving a sustainable future, praising the high level of training and the fruitful cooperation with the Jordan River Foundation, and stressing the importance of active partnerships in developing youth skills and enhancing their opportunities in the labor market.
For her part, Ms. Al-Badareen pointed out that success in this field requires a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships with universities and institutions to enhance youth skills and enable them to compete globally. Ms. Hamdan expressed her pride in the foundation's participation in this ambitious initiative, emphasizing the role of active institutions in creating positive change and enhancing global competitiveness.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants in the course were honored in recognition of their efforts, with best wishes for their success in their professional careers and for contributing to innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.
