The German Jordanian University, through its Investment Fund and in collaboration with Bin Alameed Company, inaugurated a Bin Alameed Café branch on the main campus – Al-Mashqar, coinciding with the university’s celebrations of its 20th anniversary. The opening was attended by the University President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, as well as participants and guests at the closing ceremony.
In line with the university’s and Bin Alameed Company’s commitment to engaging students, an Art Creativity Competition was launched to design artwork to be applied on the branch’s container, reflecting the spirit of the coffee experience and harmonizing with the vibrant university environment. Several students participated with creative designs that showcased their talent and innovation.
The winning design was selected and implemented on the container, and participating and winning students were honored in recognition of their creativity. Student Sana Abu Awad won first place with a prize of 1,500 JOD, student Dania Al-Yawar received second place with a prize of 250 JOD, and student Yasmin Hamalawi won third place with a prize of 250 JOD.
This collaboration reflects the university’s commitment to providing innovative services and facilities that meet the needs of its campus community, while fostering a comfortable and attractive learning environment. It also underscores the university’s role in supporting student talents and enabling them to participate in interactive initiatives and constructive partnerships with the private sector.
