The German Jordanian University has initiated a series of training courses focused on green hydrogen technology. These courses target undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering majors relevant to Jordanian universities. These courses are organized by the team of the Smart Electrical Networks Laboratory under the management of Dr. Hani Mohsen.
During the opening of the first course, the university president and project director, Prof. Dr. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, expressed his gratitude to the German International Cooperation Agency for their support of the project. He emphasized that this initiative aims to provide students with information and updates on green hydrogen technology. He encouraged participants to become pioneers in this rapidly advancing field, which the world is moving towards to reduce the impact of global warming and greenhouse gas emissions. This will have implications for both the local and international job markets.
The significance of the new specialization in Hydrogen Engineering, hosted by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Germany, was highlighted. This program will welcome the first group of students in the upcoming first semester, and they will receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of Würzburg based on this program.
It is worth mentioning that the training courses will extend over a period of four weeks at the German Jordanian University, with announcements for upcoming training courses expected to be made.
