The German Jordanian University (GJU), as part of the German Energy Academy in Jordan project, participated in in the 18th edition of the SONEX (Solar Near East Exhibition, the 18TH Edition), held from June 23 to 26, 2025. The aim was to introduce visitors to the academy’s hands-on training programs, strategic partnerships, and our role as a regional hub for building capacities in the renewable energy sector.
During the exhibition, the Academy held several events, including a technical workshop in collaboration with the Amman Chamber of Industry titled: "The German Energy Academy in Jordan: Your Gateway to Training, Qualification, and Strategic Partnerships in the Energy Sector.
The Project Director and Faculty Member in the School of Natural Resources and its Management (SNREM) at GJU, Dr. Aiman Al-Batayneh, pointed out the importance of interacting and meeting with exhibition visitors, including students, professionals, and technicians in the energy field, as well as representatives of companies and factories to exchange ideas and discuss potential future partnerships.
