The School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in collaboration with the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Jordan Chapter, will organize the Research and Innovation Day 2026 on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the University's Main Campus in Mushaqar, Madaba Road.
Held under the theme "From Research to Impact: Connecting Discovery with Application and Collaboration," the event aims to showcase scientific research, innovative ideas, and applied projects while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthening the connection between research outcomes and the needs of the medical, pharmaceutical, and engineering sectors.
The event reflects GJU's commitment to advancing applied research and innovation by providing a platform that brings together researchers, academics, students, and professionals from relevant industries, contributing to transforming scientific knowledge into practical solutions with tangible societal impact.
The Research and Innovation Day targets academics, researchers, students, and professionals in the fields of biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical and chemical engineering, chemical engineering, pharmacy, and related disciplines. The event will also welcome department chairs and faculty members from Jordanian universities, in addition to representatives of companies and institutions operating in relevant sectors.
The program will feature a keynote speech, a panel discussion, specialized workshops, and an exhibition of research posters, innovative projects, and prototypes, alongside networking opportunities designed to facilitate knowledge exchange and foster future collaborations.
