
The German Jordanian University (GJU), through the Center for E-Learning and Academic Performance Improvement (CeLAPI), successfully concluded the training program "Enhancing University Digital Learning Experiences", held from February 9 to 12, 2025.
The 16-hour training aimed to equip faculty members with advanced skills in digital course design, online teaching strategies, and video production for educational content. The sessions also explored the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education to enhance student engagement and academic performance.
Speaking at the closing session, Dr. Ziad Abu El-Rub, Director of CeLAPI, emphasized GJU’s commitment to empowering faculty members with the latest digital teaching methodologies. He highlighted the program’s role in advancing GJU’s digital transformation strategy and commended the participants for their dedication.
The training featured experienced instructors, each leading specialized sessions over four days:
- Day 1 (February 9, 2025) – Exploring Learning Types, Platforms, and AI Integration at GJU

- Day 2 (February 10, 2025) – Mastering Engagement and Communication in Online Teaching

- Day 4 (February 12, 2025) – Filming and Preparing Professional Videos

The program concluded with a group photo, reinforcing GJU’s dedication to faculty development and innovation in digital education. Faculty members were encouraged to actively integrate the newly acquired skills into their courses and participate in future CeLAPI training programs to further enhance digital learning practices at the university.
