Two students from the German Jordanian University (GJU), Hashim Al-Qaryouti and Wael Ajkheidam, secured first place in the inaugural Wireless Data-Rate Meter using Deep Learning competition. The event was organized by the IEEE ComSoc and SPS Joint Chapter, in collaboration with MathWorks International, and supervised by Dr. Mustafa Al-Shawaqfa.

Participants utilized MATLAB software to develop deep learning algorithms aimed at estimating wireless communication speeds.

The GJU team's innovative design achieved the lowest RMSE error rate, highlighting the university's commitment to fostering creativity and excellence in scientific research across diverse disciplines.
