The German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated the graduation of the 2026 cohort of the Arabic Language and Culture (ALC) Program, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and managed through the Arabic Language and Culture Center. The program welcomed students from Germany, who participated in an intensive study of Arabic language and culture from September 2025 to January 2026.

The ALC program is designed as an intensive Arabic as a Foreign Language program, providing students with comprehensive language skills while offering insights into Arabic and Jordanian culture through weekly tutorials, guest lectures, and interactive learning activities. To further support their experience, study buddies accompanied the students throughout the program, providing academic guidance and social support and helping them integrate into university life and the local community.

The program was first launched in 2014, and it reflects GJU’s ongoing commitment to promoting the Arabic language and culture internationally and fostering intercultural dialogue between Jordan and Germany.

The graduation of the 2026 cohort marks another milestone in GJU’s mission to provide high-quality language education while strengthening cultural understanding and academic cooperation.
