As part of the collaborative efforts between the German Jordanian University, represented by the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship, and the Business Development Center, the first cohort of students participating in the Job Club was graduated under the "Sa’ Project – Job Clubs," implemented at the university in collaboration with the Business Development Center, the Ministry of Youth, and supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UNICEF.The project aims to engage youth in job-seeking activities through the principles of the green economy, delivered via a specialized 14-day training program.
During the ceremony, attended by the President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Dr. Aladdin Al-Halhouli; His Excellency Nayef Stetieh, CEO and Founder of the Business Development Center; and UNICEF representative Mr. Abdullah Shreim, the importance of developing students' skills and building their professional networks during their university journey was emphasized. The event also highlighted the significance of pursuing green opportunities in local and global institutions and companies.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the students presented and discussed their green entrepreneurial projects, aiming to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at the university and to develop sustainable solutions for various challenges in the fields of water, energy, and climate change.
