The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, affirmed that cooperation with the Amman Chamber of Commerce represents a strategic step towards strengthening the relationship between the academic and private sectors, in order to develop the skills needed to keep up with contemporary economic challenges.

During the ceremony, Al-Halhouli pointed out that the university continuously strives to provide a modern training environment that aligns with the needs of the labor market, emphasizing the university’s belief in the importance of these programs in preparing qualified cadres capable of contributing effectively in vital fields such as human resource management, logistics, and supply chains.

Prof. Al-Halhouli highlighted that the German Jordanian University adopts an applied technical education approach that blends theoretical and practical scientific aspects to meet market needs. He affirmed that partnership with the commercial sector is a priority for the university, which takes pride in its cooperation and partnership with the chamber, praising the chamber’s role in developing the business sector in Jordan.

For his part, the Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq, explained that the chamber continues its efforts to qualify and develop competencies working in the commercial and service sectors, in response to the evolving needs of the local market.

Al-Haj Tawfiq confirmed that these training programs aim to enhance participants' skills in highly important fields, stressing that the primary goal of organizing such courses is to improve operational efficiency and update employees’ performance in line with the latest practices in modern management and supply chain fields.

He praised the university’s academic standing and the diverse capabilities and experiences of its graduates that contribute to business development and leadership. He confirmed that training and qualifying the commercial sector is among the strategic goals of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, through well-designed programs aimed at building and developing the capacities and skills of workers in both the commercial and service sectors based on market needs, which will positively reflect on the quality of services provided in these sectors.

The organization of these training courses comes within the framework of joint cooperation between GJU and the Amman Chamber of Commerce, based on a strategic vision aimed at aligning training with labor market requirements and enhancing partnership with leading academic institutions in the kingdom.

It is noteworthy that the two parties signed a cooperation agreement in academic, scientific, research, and training fields, aiming to raise the efficiency of workers in various economic sectors and enhance the competitiveness of institutions in Jordan.

The graduation ceremony was attended by representatives of the university and the Amman Chamber of Commerce, alongside trainers and participants who successfully completed the training programs, during which the importance of the efforts made to provide qualitative training that meets market needs and keeps pace with the latest professional developments was emphasized
