The Kinderuni  Program, also known as the Young Professor Program, has commenced at the German Jordanian University. Approximately 200 students, aged 13 to 16, from various governorates across the Kingdom, are participating in this initiative.
Now in its third year, the program is organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) and aims to make productive use of the participants' leisure time. It seeks to enhance their scientific and creative thinking while familiarizing them with the university's educational methods through interactive lectures.
The opening day featured a range of activities, including scientific and cultural competitions, experiments in collaboration with the Ibtikar Association for the Development of Creativity, sports games, and a speed-reading program.
Over the course of the week, the program will include the "Little Paramedic" initiative by the School of Nursing, offering training in public health and personal hygiene, an interactive science theater, various competitions and sports, and educational workshops for parents.
GJU’s goal is to foster exploration and scientific curiosity among children within a stimulating educational environment, encouraging them towards a successful future. The program also incorporates an interactive robotics lab and the "My Right to Learn" initiative at the Jabal Amman campus.
