The Deanship of Student Affairs at the German Jordanian University, and in collaboration with the Independent Election Commission, organized a parliamentary life simulation model conference, where 100 students participated from 10 public universities.
Vice-president, Prof. Malek Al-sharairi highlighted universities role in encouraging students to participate in political action through a variety of parties, marking the importance of learning parliamentary life concepts through organizing such workshops; shedding light on GJU’s actions towards realizing King Abdullah II’s vision in offering the opportunities to develop the youth skills and to train them on political and party practices.
The conference lasted for three days, where it included workshops that qualify our youth to actively participate in parliamentary work, dialogue and discussion sessions, and a parliament session simulation that discussed recommendations by the committees.
