As part of the activities of the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Summer School, currently held at the German Jordanian University (GJU) n collaboration with Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Prof. Laith Abu Raddad from Weill Cornell Medicine delivered a valuable scientific lecture addressing the latest trends in AI and its advanced applications.
The lecture is part of the summer school program aimed at empowering Palestinian students with advanced skills in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, thereby enhancing their ability to keep pace with rapid technological advancements and opening new horizons for scientific research and practical applications.
During the lecture, Prof. Laith Abu Raddad emphasized the importance of AI as a key tool for advancing knowledge and solving complex problems across various sectors. He also highlighted its growing role in healthcare, education, scientific research, and technological innovation. The session witnessed active engagement from students through questions and discussions on how to apply these technologies in service of Palestinian society.
