The School of Nursing at the German Jordanian University organized a Scientific Poster Exhibition for third-year students following the completion of the Nursing Research course. During the exhibition, students presented summaries of potential research projects they plan to undertake in the upcoming stages of their academic studies.
The posters represented direct outcomes of the course, demonstrating students’ ability to develop researchable ideas, identify research problems relevant to nursing practice, and propose appropriate research methodologies based on sound scientific and methodological principles.
The School of Nursing emphasized that organizing this exhibition aligns with its vision to promote a culture of scientific research among students from the early academic stages, enhance critical thinking and analytical skills, and enable students to apply research methodologies to explore challenges in healthcare settings and contribute to their improvement through evidence-based approaches.
The exhibition witnessed active engagement from faculty members and students, providing a platform for scientific discussion and constructive feedback. This interaction contributed to refining students’ research ideas and enhancing their readiness to move from the conceptual stage to practical application, producing nursing knowledge that supports the quality of healthcare services and patient safety.
