The School of Nursing (SN) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a specialized training course on the Multifunctional Therapeutic Ventilator in collaboration with Anfas Medical Services, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the clinical competencies of faculty members and nursing staff.
The course covered both practical and theoretical aspects of using the ventilator, one of the latest high-tech mechanical ventilation systems, offering comprehensive respiratory therapy functions to meet the needs of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Participants were trained on managing emergency respiratory scenarios, operating different ventilator modes, understanding the user interface, and connecting medical accessories, thereby ensuring improved proficiency in both teaching and clinical practice.
It is worth noting that the School of Nursing acquired the ventilator as part of its training lab equipment, offering faculty members and students hands-on training opportunities with the latest respiratory care simulation technologies.
At the conclusion of the course, the School expressed its gratitude to Anfas Medical Services for their fruitful collaboration and emphasized the importance of continuing specialized workshops that contribute to the advancement of both education and clinical practice.
