The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening joint cooperation between the two parties in the fields of scientific research, consulting, and educational activities.
The memorandum was signed by the President of GJU, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and the Director of JODDB, Brigadier Engineer Ayman Al-Batran, in the presence of several officials from both sides.
The agreement includes encouraging the exchange of expertise between the two parties, which encompasses developing joint scientific research teams, submitting funding applications for collaborative research projects to local and international agencies, and collaborating on the development and manufacturing of products and engineering solutions that meet global standards to address the needs of local and international institutions.
Additionally, the agreement outlines the exchange of knowledge and technologies in scientific research and engineering manufacturing. It also grants GJU students and faculty members access to the facilities and laboratories of JODDB. Furthermore, bachelor's degree student projects will receive funding through the King Abdullah II Fund for Development.
As part of this partnership, GJU students will have the opportunity to receive training at JODDB, while both parties will exchange information and technologies related to equipment and device maintenance.
