From September 9 to 15, an intensive qualification workshop for 14 teachers from the German Language Center (GLC) took place. The program covered 20 hours of training, marking the first part of a comprehensive professional development course that will be extended by an additional 20 hours in a second phase.

The primary goal of this qualification is to ensure the quality of intern supervision at the GLC, with a particular focus on interns from the Master's program in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) at the German Jordanian University (GJU). These interns complete a significant part of their practical training at the GLC.

By participating in this program, the teachers are being trained as certified mentor teachers. This role is essential, as mentor teachers guide and support DaF interns throughout their practical experiences, providing valuable feedback and reflection.

The second part of the training will ensure that the teachers are fully prepared to meet the high standards of the GLC and to offer professional support to the interns.
