Ms. Maisa Masoud, Vision Rehabilitation Specialist at the Vision Rehabilitation Center of the German Jordanian University (GJU), visited the Ophthalmology Department at the University of Jordan Hospital upon invitation from Dr. Muatasem Al-Rabie, Head of the Ophthalmology Department and Chief of Special Surgery.
During the visit, attended by optometrists from the hospital's Ophthalmology Department, discussions focused on enhancing collaborative efforts in continuous education for specialists and doctors aimed at improving the quality of patient care. The discussions also addressed ways to develop services for individuals with visual impairments and low vision.
This visit underscores the importance of cooperation, synergy, and knowledge exchange among different institutions to enhance the quality of services provided to individuals with visual impairments, thereby improving their quality of life and integration into society.
