The School of Nursing (SN) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) held an introductory workshop focusing on the Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) Program. The workshop was attended by GJU’s students and faculty members, and presented by Eng. Hamza Al-Jaafara, from Hakeem Academy, which is the human capital development and educational arm of Electronic Health Solutions (EHS).
Al-Jaafara presented a comprehensive summary of the EHS’s vision, mission and services provided, which include Hakeem Program that aims to revolutionize and automate the healthcare sector around Jordan, “ELM” Library, that is a free online medical resource in Jordan for healthcare professionals and medical university students in the Middle East and Hakeem Academy, which trains university students on health informatics.
For her part, the Dean of SN, Dr. Mayada Daibes, stressed on the importance of the workshop in terms of building the necessary capabilities to enable students to use health technology effectively in their career path, and to adopt a proactive attitude towards innovation and leadership in the field of healthcare. She pointed out that the workshop came within the framework of the SN's continuous endeavor to enrich GJU’s students’ knowledge and enhance their skills in the medical fields and modern health technologies.
The workshop was concluded with a Q&A session answering the students' questions and inquiries.
