The School of Natural Resources Engineering Management (SNREM) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) in cooperation with the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) held a workshop on the Future of PV Recycling in Jordan with the participation of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Local Administration, industry representatives, and Mater’s students at GJU.
The workshop aimed to investigate the future of PV module recycling in Jordan economically and indicate financial behavior on how the project would act.
The workshop discussed the potential of PV systems in Jordan, PV system raw materials, the impact of PV systems on the environment in addition, revision of the methods for PV panels recycling and waste management, a case study for PV recycling in Jordan, and economic project investigation.
At the end of the workshop, its coordinator, Dr. Yaqoub Al-Khasawneh, presented its scientific results.
