This journey started from Mr. Khalil Al Talhouni’s house that was designed by the Egyptian famous architect Hasan Fathy and constructed in the early 90s, this house is a real representation of Fathy’s philosophy that focused on the environmental & functional aspects in the architectural design by using local materials & inspiring by the traditional Islamic architecture elements, the second stop was in Al Gandour house ( the clay house) that Architect Amani Malhas – an industrial professor in GJU- contributed in designing it, where the Final stop was in Architect Bilal Hammad farmhouse who is one of the well known Jordanian architects.
