In pursuit of building strong partnerships with German academic and healthcare institutions, Dr. Mayda Daibes, Dean of the School of Nursing at the German Jordanian University (GJU), along with Dr. Mohammad Al-Za'atreh, Vice Dean, undertook a month-long working visit to Germany. The visit aimed to ensure that students of the college receive high-quality education and training during their internship year in Germany.

The tour included visits to several prominent German educational and healthcare institutions, such as Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, St. Elisabeth Hospital Herne, and Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, it encompassed Fulda University of Applied Sciences, Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences in Jena, Hertz Jesco Hospital in Fulda, and Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

The focus of the visit was on preparing students for their placements in Germany, equipping them to provide exceptional healthcare and effectively contribute to the healthcare sector in both Germany and Jordan post-graduation. Discussions also covered establishing strategic partnerships to enhance the educational and practical experience for students.

Furthermore, discussions addressed collaborative projects, joint programs, and the possibility of offering global lessons in collaboration with partner universities. Dr. Daibes and Dr. Al-Za'atreh participated in the International Week at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, delivering valuable lectures to nursing students, thereby enhancing knowledge exchange and academic cooperation across cultures.
