The German Jordanian University (GJU) is set to launch its third annual “Kinderuni” Program, also known as the Little Professor Program, next Saturday. This initiative aims to foster scientific and creative thinking among young participants and provide them with insight into the university’s educational approach through a series of interactive lectures.
Scheduled to take place at the main campus in Al-Mishqar and organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), the program is designed for students aged 13 to 16 from across the Kingdom. It will be overseen by specialists from GJU and the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany.
The week-long program will feature a variety of scientific and cultural competitions, including the "Try Yourself" program, "Solutions" challenges, a little paramedic activity, an interactive science theater, as well as various competitions and sports games.
GJU’s President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli emphasized that the program aims to ignite a spirit of exploration and scientific curiosity among children within an inspiring educational environment. “We are excited to offer an environment full of opportunities and success stories that will encourage children towards a bright and successful future,” said Prof. Al-Halhouli.
This year’s “Kinderuni” Program will also include an interactive robotics lab, the seventh scientific camp of the Ibtikar Association for the Development of Creativity, which targets creative students and teachers, and the "My Right to Learn" initiative, which the university is implementing in Jabal Amman.
