The School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), at the German Jordanian University (GJU) participated in two workshops organized at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany, as part of the SheSucceeds project, which aims to promote equal opportunities in project-based learning in Jordan. The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The first workshop was held on June 27-28, 2024, with the participation of two students from the German Jordanian University: Tala AbuJawid and Zain AlSawalha. The second workshop, held from November 28-30, 2024, saw the participation of eight students from the university: Farah Alhajaj, Haya Bawati Jana Abdullah, Jana Al-Qubelat, Mays Hababeh, Sadeel Sallam, Sima Abdelkarim, and Zinah Al-Karghood.

The workshops focused on enhancing the technical and innovative skills of the students in engineering fields, as well as developing their ability to work collaboratively and solve problems using advanced scientific methodologies. The workshops brought together academics from three German universities: Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena, and Brandenburg University of Technology—and two Jordanian universities, GJU and Tafila Technical University (TTU).

This project, supervised by Dr. Dhiah el Diehn Abou-Tair and Dr. Amani Abu Jabal from the German Jordanian University, is part of the university's ongoing efforts to promote international academic collaboration and provide exceptional opportunities for its students in various engineering disciplines.
