The Consultation and Training Center at the German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated the graduation of the 11th and 12th cohorts of the “Qualification – Nonprofit Management” project, with the participation of more than 50 trainees. The program was jointly implemented by the Kafa’at Center, the Better Environment for Training and Development Organization, and GJU as the main partner of the project, within an initiative carried out across seven Arab countries.
The project aims to build the managerial capacities of leaders in civil society organizations and enhance their skills in nonprofit project management according to best practices and international standards. It offers specialized training in areas such as governance, strategic planning, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, human resources management, and social marketing.
Representatives from the university emphasized GJU’s vital role in supporting developmental initiatives and entrepreneurial projects that contribute to human capacity building and strengthen the institutional culture within civil society organizations.
For his part, Dr. Hazem Al-Fuqaha, the project director, explained that the “Qualification – Nonprofit Management” project is one of the leading regional programs, implemented in seven Arab countries with the goal of standardizing leadership qualification criteria within the nonprofit sector.
The ceremony concluded in a celebratory atmosphere filled with pride and achievement, as participants expressed their appreciation to the organizing and supporting institutions. They affirmed their commitment to continuing the program in the coming year to further promote institutional development within the nonprofit sector.
