A delegation from the School of Nursing at the German Jordanian University (GJU) visited the Saudi Hospital as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and clinical cooperation between the two institutions and to expand partnership opportunities in practical training and health education.

The visit aimed to review the clinical training sites available for nursing students, allowing Visiting Professor Dr. Judith Anke to gain first-hand insight into the clinical work environment and the practical training mechanisms in place, and to compare them with educational models applied in Germany. This exchange contributes to the development of clinical education practices and the enhancement of academic expertise between the two sides.

The visit concluded with an extensive field tour of several clinical and nursing departments at the hospital, during which Dr. Anke expressed her admiration for the high standard of healthcare services provided, as well as the quality of the supportive training environment offered to nursing students. Such an environment enables students to acquire practical skills in line with international standards, enhancing their readiness to engage in global educational and clinical settings.

The delegation included Dr. Judith Anke, Visiting Professor from Hannover University in Germany, along with Dr. Mohammad Alzaatreh, Vice Dean of the School of Nursing, and Dr. Mohammad Alsadi, Head of the Department of Nursing Sciences. The delegation was received by Ms. Hiba Al-Saudi, Board Member and Chief Financial Officer of the hospital, Dr. Mohammad Kamleh, Medical Director, and Mr. Hossam Al-Saeedi, Head of the Continuing Education and Training Department.

It is worth noting that Ms. Hiba Al-Saudi, the hospital’s Chief Financial Officer, is a graduate of the German Jordanian University, holding a bachelor’s degree in International Accounting—reflecting the depth of institutional ties and professional connections between the University and various sectors of the labor market
