In celebration of the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the son of Hussein, may God protect and preserve him, the Jordanian University Sports Federation organized a sports event in the city of Aqaba from 16th to 21st February 2024. The event included a 3x3 basketball championship for female students, a badminton championship for female students, and a futsal championship for male students. The German Jordanian University participated in all games, and the results were as follows:
In the 3x3 basketball championship for female students, the team lost to Yarmouk University with a score of 7-6. In the second match, they won against Tafila University with a score of 5-1. In the third match, the team managed to defeat Petra University with a score of 11-5. However, in the final match against the University of Jordan, they lost with a score of 15-8. The team showcased an outstanding performance throughout the competition.
In the badminton championship, the team won the first match against Jadara University with a score of 2-0. In the second match, they lost to the University of Science and Technology with a score of 2-1, delivering an impressive performance in the game. In the third match, they lost to Petra University with a score of 2-1 but won against Al al-Bayt University with a score of 2-1. The team demonstrated exceptional performance in this championship as well.
In the futsal championship, the team's results were as follows: they won against Al-Isra University with a score of 5-3, lost to Al-Zaytoonah University with a one-goal difference of 5-4, won against Al-Balqa Applied University with a score of 3-0, and won against the Middle East University with a score of 5-3.
