The Athletic Excellence Enrolling Regulations aims to primarily increase the level of physical activity at the University, and secondarily to give students of athletic excellence the opportunity to obtain a university education. Click here for the full regulations.
This regulations apply to Jordanian students, with a Jordanian high school diploma, or its equivalent, provided that they have the minimum average prescribed for acceptance at the German Jordanian university (Depends on the program of study; Languages 70%, Management sciences 75%, Engineering 80%).
The student shall promise in writing in accordance with this regulations to practice sports activity and to represent the university in- and outside the Kingdom of Jordan.
Athletic excellence includes – but not limited to - the following sports:
- Football
- Basketball
- Handball
- Volleyball
- Athletics
- Table tennis
- Badminton
- Squash
- Tennis
- Karate
- Taekwondo
- Swimming
- Chess
